Above the skies, o’er vast expanse,
On wings of steel, in daring dance,
I soared across the land unknown,
A journey wild, where dreams are sown.
Through clouds I weaved, with eagle’s might,
A realm unseen, in wondrous flight,
America, a land untamed,
Her beauty, by the heavens framed.
From towering peaks to valleys deep,
Where secrets lie and memories keep,
In rugged ranges, ancient and grand,
The spirit of the land did stand.
In cities tall, with gleaming towers,
Where dreams ascend in vibrant hours,
The bustle hummed, a vibrant throng,
A chorus of life, a vibrant song.
Yet ’twas in nature’s gentle sway,
Amidst the fields where wildflowers play,
That I beheld the purest grace,
The soul of America in embrace.
The amber waves and golden fields,
Where harvest’s bounty freely yields,
A tapestry of life’s own art,
Where love for land forever starts.
Through winding rivers, wide and deep,
A ribbon’s journey, secrets to keep,
Their waters flowed with timeless rhyme,
Bearing echoes of an ancient time.
As twilight painted the western skies,
A canvas lit with fireflies,
The stars emerged, in brilliance bright,
Guiding me through the endless night.
O, my Friend, if you could but see,
This land of dreams, where hearts run free,
A Middle-earth of vibrant hue,
Where wonders dwell, both old and new.
For in the sky, where eagles soar,
I glimpsed a realm forevermore,
And with each beat of wing and breath,
I found myself in a tale of myth.
Above the skies, o’er vast expanse,
A journey wild, a fleeting chance,
America, her beauty untold,
A tapestry woven in stories bold.
